Talent Development

People are the core of any enterprise, and GFUN greatly values the diversity and development of its employees. We actively nurture talents to ensure a bright future for each of our employees.

Performance Evaluation

In order to retain key personnel and motivate employees, GFUN links annual performance evaluations with pay raise and promotion opportunities. Every July, raises and promotions are implemented to give high-performing employees the opportunity to receive above-market rate salaries or career advancements. Employees are also given the chance to transfer to different positions within the group at home and abroad, to cultivate comprehensive capabilities and perspectives.

Counseling

GFUN holds regular workplace care seminars, employee care, and interviews. New employees are coached by senior staff to help them get acclimated faster

Labor-Management Relations

GFUN has a corporate mailbox to encourage employees to express their opinions anonymously. In order to allow employees to participate in the management of the company, regular labor-management meetings are held to coordinate labor-management relations, promote two-way communication and cooperation, and prevent labor problems.

Employee Welfare

In order to motivate employees, GFUN's compensation and benefits policy is superior to both government requirements and competitor standards. All employees have free access to a dormitory, fitness center, three free meals, free transportation, flexible working hours, external training subsidies, club subsidies, volunteer leaves, company trips, departmental meals, bonuses, holiday gifts, and insurance. We also have an employee welfare committee that regularly discusses all aspects of employee welfare, such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, and recreation. Our goals are to recruit talented people, motivate existing employees, and promote labor-management harmony.

Flexible Work Hours

Flexible work hours are aimed to help employees avoid traffic peaks and reduce tardies due to having to take children to and from school. Employees can apply to work from home during the COVID-19 crisis to facilitate virus prevention and family care.

Health Care

GFUN offers regular employee health checkups including: general health examination, special health examination, and health examination for night shift workers. We also have qualified nursing staff and AED devices on-site.

Employee Children Bonuses

GFUN provides employees with assistance and incentives for childcare, such as childcare allowances. We also offer annual summer camps and scholarships for employee children.

Childcare Facilities

GFUN has a contracted kindergarten that can also provide afterschool care to help provide work-life balance to employees with children, so they can work with peace of mind.

Inclusive Workplace

GFUN is committed to promoting diverse learning and growth with equality at heart. Promotions are considered and given out equally regardless of nationality. High-performing migrant workers may be promoted to management and lead Taiwanese employees. To this end, we arrange courses for foreign employees to cultivate their leadership qualities to prepare them for management roles.

Family Care Leave and Parental Leave without Pay

Employees of any gender who have worked in the company for more than six months may apply for up to two years of parental leave without pay to care for the baby before they reach the age of three. From 2019 to 2021, a total of five employees gave birth and applied for parental leave without pay, a 100% application rate. We also follow up on the reinstatement process by helping returning employees get acclimated to the workplace again.

The starting salary for all positions at GFUN is based on the principle of equal pay for equal work. Overall, men and women in the company receive equal pay.

Female Employee Safety and Hygiene

Female employees returning home at night are accompanied by security guards and have access to taxi services.
The women's washrooms have free hygiene products available.

Maternal Health Care

We have nursing staff and doctors on-site and offer health consultation and examination to pregnant employees. Maternal health seminars and activities are also held regularly.

Child-friendly Facilities

At GFUN, we understand that childcare is not just the responsibility of families, but also something that businesses need to take part in. To give mothers peace of mind while they work and increase their overall productivity, we have set up breastfeeding rooms on-premises. The breastfeeding rooms are made up of individual cubicles with single tables and chairs, breast milk collectors, and refrigerators to provide a private, comfortable, and safe breastfeeding environment.
